For businesses that order again and again
Many teams need the same kind of work every week or every month. Here is how ordering works on SkillSellUp, how to write a brief a seller can act on, and how to keep working with a seller you trust.
In short
- You pay SkillSellUp, never the seller, and the payment is held until you approve the delivery.
- A finished order can be ordered again in two taps, and you can ask us to remind you.
- Follow a seller you trust, and we let you know when they put a new gig live.
What to expect
- Every gig shows its packages with the price, the delivery time and the number of revisions before you order.
- SkillSellUp adds no service fee at checkout.
- All payments are in US dollars (USD). We do not convert currencies.
- You pay SkillSellUp. The payment is held until you accept the delivery, or until it is accepted automatically after 3 days.
- Every seller and every gig is checked by an administrator before buyers can see them.
How to write a brief a seller can act on
Each gig asks its own questions after you order. Good answers save a round of changes.
Say what it is for
Who will see the work, where it will be used and what it should help them do.
Show an example
Share work you like, and say what you like about it. A gig's questions can ask for files or for a link.
Give the facts
Sizes, formats, length, brand colours, the words that must appear and anything that must not.
Ask before you order
If you are unsure what a package includes, ask the seller in the chat first. The work starts once your payment is confirmed and your requirements are complete.
Ordering and paying for bigger work
- A seller can send a custom offer in the chat with its own price and delivery time. It becomes an order only if you accept it and pay, and it expires after 7 days if you do not.
- A bigger custom job can be split into 2 to 6 milestones. You pay the first at checkout and each next one only after you approve the one before it.
- If you cannot find the right gig, post a request describing the work. Posting a request is free, and sellers answer with priced offers.
Keeping the seller you trust
- On a finished order you can order the same package again in two taps. The price is checked again at that moment.
- On the same page you can ask us to remind you to order again, every month or every few months. If two reminders pass without a new order, they stop by themselves, and you can change or stop them at any time.
- Follow a seller to keep them on your list of sellers. When they put a new gig live, we let you know.
- Save a gig to come back to it later.
What the site does not do yet
- There are no shared team accounts. Each account belongs to one person, and our Terms ask you to keep your password private.
- There is no invoice download. Your order page keeps the record: the package, the amount and every step of the order.
- If your team needs something that is not here, write to [email protected] and tell us what it is.
Questions people ask
Can my whole team use one account?
No. Each account belongs to one person, and our Terms ask you to keep your password private. Each person who orders uses their own account.
Can I keep working with the same seller?
Yes. Order a finished order again from its order page, follow the seller, or message them in the chat to ask for a custom offer.
Do you send invoices?
There is no invoice download today. Your order page shows the package, the amount and every step. If you need something else for your records, write to [email protected] and tell us what.
Can we pay for a large project in parts?
Yes, through a custom offer split into 2 to 6 milestones. You pay each one only after you approve the one before it.
