For creators: video, thumbnails and AI video
Creators come to SkillSellUp for short-form edits, long YouTube videos, thumbnails and AI video. Here is how to brief that work, how to share footage, and what we say about AI-made content.
In short
- Short-form and YouTube editing, thumbnails and AI video are sold as packages with a price, a delivery time and revisions.
- If you need to know which parts were made with AI, check the package lists a note on it, or ask the seller before you order.
- No seller can promise views, clicks or subscribers. You approve the work before the order is completed.
What creators order here
- Short-form edits for Reels, Shorts and TikTok: vertical cuts with captions and pacing for feeds.
- YouTube video editing: long-form cuts, b-roll, sound and pacing.
- Thumbnail design, a category of its own, for YouTube and podcast thumbnails.
- AI video: scenes, voices or presenters made with AI tools, then edited and checked by a person.
AI-made content, honestly
- Before you order AI video, read the package list. If it includes a note on which parts were made with AI, that note is part of what you pay for.
- If the package does not mention it, ask the seller in the chat before you order. A seller can answer with a custom offer that includes it.
- We do not detect AI-made content automatically, and we do not add an AI label to your video. If a platform where you post asks you to label AI content, that label is yours to add.
- Do not send a real person's face or voice unless you have their permission. Our Terms say you confirm you have the right to use what you send.
How to brief an edit
Share the footage
A gig's questions can ask for files or for a link, so large footage can stay in your own storage and you share a link to it.
Say where it will be posted
The platform, the format and the length. A vertical short and a long YouTube video are different jobs.
Show a style you like
Point to a video or a thumbnail you like and say what you like about it: the pacing, the captions, the colours.
Check the delivery
Ask for a revision if it misses the brief. If you do not respond, a delivery is accepted automatically after 3 days, so check it before your posting date.
Paying for creator work
- You pay SkillSellUp, never the seller, and the payment is held until you approve the delivery.
- SkillSellUp adds no service fee at checkout.
- Once an order is completed and paid in full, our Terms say the finished work is yours to use for any purpose. Music, stock clips and fonts in it stay under their own licences.
Questions people ask
Will I know which parts of a video were made with AI?
Check the package list for a note on what was made with AI, or ask the seller in the chat before you order. We do not detect or label AI-made content ourselves.
Can a seller promise my video will get views?
No. Views, clicks and subscribers depend on your content and your audience, and no seller can promise them. What you can check is the work itself, before you accept it.
How do I send large video files?
A gig's questions can ask for a link to your footage, so the files can stay in your own storage. If you are unsure, ask the seller in the chat before you order.
Who owns the finished video?
Once an order is completed and paid in full, our Terms say the finished work is yours to use for any purpose. Music, stock clips and fonts stay under their own licences, and we tell you if one limits your use.
